Roger Messio founded SASA (Société d’Application des Silicones Alimentaires), specialist in the manufacture of non-stick equipment (baking equipment, moulds, trays, etc.) for craft, industrial and retail baking-pastrymaking.

As a result of spectacular growth, SASA Industrie was listed on the Second Market of the Paris Stock Exchange in December 1996.

Creation of aluminium alloy drawn wires under the TREFIL’ALU brand
Creation of the British subsidiary, SASA UK

Creation of the German subsidiary SASA GmbH.

Acquisition of BODSON, manufacturer of machines for washing, baking and vacuum packing

Merger with DEMARLE. Between the two companies, industrial and commercial synergy are high, conducted with respect for brand identity.

Weinberg Capital Partners enters into the capital of SASA INDUSTRIE, creation of Durashield Europe and SASA-DEMARLE Inc. in the U.S. The Group achieves 50% of its turnover in export, counts nearly 500 employees and exports in 120 countries.
